By accessing or using VerifiedNow (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all terms, you may not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use VerifiedNow. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to share your login details or allow others to access your account.

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@verifiednow.io if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent credentials or work history
• Impersonate another person or organisation
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Circumvent any security or verification mechanism
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data without written permission
• Upload malware or any harmful code

All content, features, and functionality on VerifiedNow — including the logo, interface design, and proprietary algorithms — are owned by VerifiedNow and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you submit (your profile, projects, credentials). By submitting content, you grant VerifiedNow a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display and distribute that content as part of the Service.

VerifiedNow facilitates peer-based and employer verification of credentials. We do not independently verify the accuracy of all claims made on the platform. Verification badges represent that a third party has confirmed the claim — not that VerifiedNow guarantees it.

We are not liable for hiring decisions or professional consequences arising from verified or unverified profile content.

Paid features are available under subscription plans detailed on our Pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal date.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via account settings. Upon termination, your access to premium features will cease immediately.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VerifiedNow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
